The volume, with a foreword by the Minister of Health Orazio Schillaci, was presented on the 12th of December 2023 at the Italian National Institute of Health in Rome.
Resulting from the collaboration between AIOM, AIRTUM, the AIOM Foundation, PASSI, PASSI d’Argento,SIAPEC-IAP and ONS, it aims to provide epidemiological data in support of clinicians, the population and institutions to understand, organize and manage oncological problems.
Since the initial collaboration between AIOM and AIRTUM (Italian Association of Cancer Registries) in 2011, 13 editions of “Cancer figures in Italy” have been published, reporting the analytical description of tumor epidemiology in Italy.
